Transporting your child to and from school can be stressful. We have worked hard to make it as stress-free as possible, but we need your help. Please take a moment to review the arrival and dismissal procedures below.
Students Driving to School:
- Enter using Cottage Avenue or Model Avenue.
- Do not drive through the Bus Lot.
- Park ONLY in the assigned parking lot and assigned parking spot. (Currently only the parking-deck spaces are numbered.)
- Hang parking pass on mirror.
- Students parking on school property without a parking pass may receive a parking ticket from the Millersville Boro Police Department.
- Students may enter the building through the following entrances:
- Front Entrance near Main Office
- Cafeteria Entrance
- Attendance Office Entrance
Students getting dropped off by a parent or guardian:
- Enter using Cottage Avenue or Model Avenue
- Drive around to the back of the building (not through Bus Lot).
- All drop-off vehicles must stay in the left lane and pull as far forward as possible.
- Drop off near the Attendance Office.
- Students may enter through the Attendance Office Entrance.
- Continue around the building and exit via Cottage Avenue
- Please be mindful that the drop-off process does take some time. We appreciate your patience.
Students may enter the building at 7:20 a.m. at one of these entrances:
- Attendance Office (near parking deck)
- Cafeteria Entrance
- Front Entrance near Main Office
- Students are not permitted to enter the building through any other entrance.
Dismissal:
- All students will be dismissed at 2:45 p.m.
- Drivers
- Parent pick-up
- Bus riders
- Drivers:
- Can exit using Herr Avenue, Model Avenue, or Cottage Avenue
- Herr Avenue traffic will be stopped for buses to depart.
- Can exit using Herr Avenue, Model Avenue, or Cottage Avenue
- Bus riders:
- Buses will be in the front of the building.
- Buses will park in the same bus lane every day.
- See Block 4 teacher about bus-lane location.
- Once dismissed, head straight to your bus.
- Buses will depart promptly at 2:52 p.m.
- Students getting picked up:
- This will take place near the parking deck.
- Students should exit through the Attendance Office exit.
- All vehicles will pick up outside of the attendance office and exit via Model Avenue or Cottage Avenue.
