Do you enjoy making videos? Or being the person IN the video? Here’s an opportunity to be a part of a very special Penn Manor Production – we are looking for people to play the roles of teenagers in scenes that happen outside of a classroom – the most important experiences that young people deal with while attending high school. The scenes are sometimes serious and many are light-hearted, showing that real life lessons are learned in the halls, cafeteria, parking lots, and anywhere students are allowed to be themselves. Submit a short video audition by November 2nd – but we will include EVERY SINGLE STUDENT who is interested -there will be no cuts, and we will work around your jobs, sports, activities, and family commitments – we want this to be an all-inclusive production. If you can spare 30 minutes each week to rehearse, that’s all we need! Email Mrs. Mintzer with questions. For more information, join our google classroom with the code: efw2f3n

Yesterday, the Penn Manor Jr. High XC team traveled to the County Park to race McCaskey. We are very proud of the team’s accomplishments today and the show of true sportsmanship.

Our Girls team won the meet today (26-29) and were led by Zoe King, who was the overall winner. Coming in behind her and scoring points were: Reagan Gerlach, Alyssa Eby, Addy Martin, and Madeleine Rohrer and rounding out the top 7 were Charity Hetrick and Bethany Kramer

Our Boys stayed tough the whole way despite some misdirection on the course and finished right behind McCaskey (27-30). Our top five finishers were: Miles Sandt, Graham Cohick, Gage Myers, Silas Buckwalter, and Ben Thomas with Chase Vinson and Vincent Keefer as our 6th and 7th runners.

Penn Manor Boy’s Cross Country upset favored McCaskey 24-31 on McCaskey’s home course. The Comets were led by Graham Thomas, who won the race by almost one minute.
