If so, Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) club may be right for you! FBLA is a leadership development club bringing business and education together in a positive working relationship. Learn about the world of business and what is expected of you in the workplace. Look for our stand during lunches on Sept 5 to find out how to join!
You are invited to attend “Theatre 101” – a kickoff meeting for all-things-theatre. You and your parents should come to the auditorium on Wednesday evening, August 29th at 6:30 pm. If you are curious about what goes on behind the scenes, or are looking for a chance to perform onstage – or join our drama club – this event is for you! Our fall play will be NOISES OFF – a comedy full of chaos, love triangles, and flying sardines. If you are looking to make a connection with a great group of people – please consider joining our theatre program! No experience required – a willingness to learn and a strong work ethic to do the job well is a great place to start. See you on Wednesday evening!
Thespians club is for any student interested in theatre -whether onstage or behind the scenes. Activities will include preparations and support for our fall and spring productions, field trips and service projects. Our fall fundraiser to sell apple dumplings will begin soon. Students must complete an application to officially join our club. An application is available on the office counter, the PM Theatre blog, or our Moodle site – under the heading “Student Life.” See Mrs. Mintzer in room 209 with any questions.
If you are interested in fields of technology and engineering, like working with your hands, or are looking to get involved, the Technology Student Association may be right for you! This STEM-related club works to prepare a range of events to compete at regional, state, and even national conferences. If you are interested in joining, please pick up an application outside of room 102. You need an application even if you were a club member last year. All applications for membership are due back to Mrs. Miller by no later than the end of second block on Thursday, August 6.
