Attention class of 2017 it’s time to kick off the year with some doughnuts!! As a class we’re doing a Krispy Kreme fundraiser and we need your participation. If you did not receive a order form in homeroom you can pick one up in the counseling office. Any questions see Brooke DeBerdine, Sarah Ament, Alyssa Ames, Lynsey Wissler or Justin Robinson. Thanks and sell sell sell!! Completed tally order forms are due back to the counseling office by November 12th with payment. Checks should be made payable to the PMHS-Class of 2017.

‘Tis the season for giving! Next Tuesday, November 10th, in room 246 during homeroom, there will be an opportunity to package shoeboxes for kids in other countries who do not have the privilege of receiving Christmas gifts every year. If you would like to join in on the event, hosted by First Priority Christian Club, please contact Bekah Meyers, Juliet Gordon, Claudia Heitland, Tara Kinser, Jenna Flatley, or Mrs. Rottmund via student emails or text Bekah Meyers at (717) 314-6927. If you can not come to the event, but would still like to contribute to the cause, any toys, schools supplies, non-liquid hygiene items, accessories, batteries, etc. may be brought to the office and placed in the box labeled “OCC”

Attention seniors: If you have not ordered your cap and gown you have until November 13 to order at the current price. After midnight on November 13, the price of the cap and gown will increase to $55.00. To place your order you must order onlone at

Attention 10th and 11th graders PA Governor’s School held an information night the other evening. Applications for the Pennsylvania School of Global Entrepreneurship and the University of Pittsburgh Health Careers Scholar Academy are available in the counseling office. Please stop by to pick one up if you are interested.

There will be a winter track meeting Tuesday November 10th at 3 p.m. in the cafeteria. Please see coach Myers in room 309 with any questions.

Students interested in Dual Enrollment, this is a reminder that dual enrollment applications are due by Monday November 16 in the guidance office. See your Counselor if you have any questions.

Look up! The class of 2019 is selling brownies from the balcony overlooking the cafeteria during all lunches. These delicious treats are only 2 for $1.00! Satisfy your sweet tooth and support the freshman class at the same time.

Any boy interested in trying out for the Penn Manor Tennis Team this spring, Coach Hammond will be having open court time every Wednesday at Racquet Club West from 8:00-9:30 in the evenings. The cost will be $5-$10 per person depending on the number that show up.

Attention Serteen members. There will be no club meeting this week. Please bring boxes and posters for the Food Drive to room 383. Also make sure that you check our blog for additional information. See Mrs. Kroesen with questions.

Attention Senior Boys! Do you look up to Miss America? Do you wish you could strut across a stage proving you are Penn Manor’s finest man? We have the competition for you! Student Council is sponsoring a Mr. Penn Manor Pageant. We are taking senior boy applicants from now until Thanksgiving break! You can pick up and return a form to Mrs. Kramer, CeCe Minnick, Angie Wood, Eric Snyder, or Emma Barley. It will be an experience you will never forget!

All students who are going on the Theatre and British Literature trip to New York City tomorrow MUST come to the Central Complex to board the bus first thing in the morning! The bus WILL leave at 7:30; don’t miss it!
