Are you interested in how stuff works? Do you enjoy applying your thoughts and ideas to competitive events? If so, you may be interested in joining the Penn Manor Technology Student Association (TSA). TSA meets every Tuesday and Thursday during homeroom to collaborate and work on projects ranging from public speaking to programming and construction to aircraft design. If you are interested in becoming a member of PM TSA, fill out an application now from the bulletin board outside room 102. See Mrs. Miller with any questions.
Attention Seniors: If you missed your senior portrait appointment in the spring and in the summer, you have a rescheduled appointment time on either Tuesday, Sept. 1 or Wednesday, Sept. 2 in the high school auditorium! Check the list posted outside the office to verify your appointment time. DO NOT MISS IT! If you miss this appointment, you WILL NOT be in this year’s yearbook!
Manor FFA Livestock Exhibitors–This is a reminder that all buyer letters should be written, checked by an advisor, and sent by Thursday, September 3, 2015. Buyer addresses are located on www.theaet.com under portfolio files.

Attention students in grade 9-11. Now is the time to get involved and make a positive influence on your class. Petitions for class officer are located in the main office and are due by Friday, September 11th. if you have any questions, please see Mrs. Marsh in the office.
Hey college-bound seniors: did you forget to register for the October 3rd SAT? Well, you’re in luck: the regular registration deadline is this Thursday, September 3rd. Online registration at the College Board website takes about 20 minutes and you’ll need a credit card. After you register you can take a free online SAT practice test at www.khanacademy.org/sat. Remember when you register that our test center number is 39424 and our school code number is 392655. See Mr. Yearsley if you have any questions.
If you are interested in being a part of our theatre program this year – we have lots of opportunities for everyone! There will be an informational meeting on Tuesday, September 1st at 6:30 in the auditorium. All interested students should plan to attend, and bring a parent. We will share information about how to join our theatre club, attend state conference, audition for a role onstage, work behind the scenes as a crew member, or help in the lobby as an usher. We will be producing THREE SHOWS this year! Our fall show will the “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” and we will provide all the paperwork needed to audition. We will also do our traditional spring musical in March – but we are also going to produce a children’s show in April. Please come to the meeting to learn more about our program – there is no commitment or obligation, just a chance to meet the staff and get more information. We hope to see you there!
All library books from summer checkout are due back. Please return those books immediately to the library.
