Attention Seniors: If you missed your senior portrait appointment in the spring and in the summer, you have a rescheduled appointment time on either Tuesday, Sept. 1 or Wednesday, Sept. 2 in the high school auditorium! Check the list posted outside the office to verify your appointment time. DO NOT MISS IT! If you miss this appointment, you WILL NOT be in this year’s yearbook!

The first Manor FFA meeting of the 2015-2016 School year will be held on Monday, August 31st, at 7 PM in room 342. Come to this meeting to learn about what you can be involved in this year. Solanco and Lampeter Fair information will be available at this meeting. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.

Manor FFA Livestock Exhibitors–This is a reminder that all buyer letters should be written, checked by an advisor, and sent by Thursday, September 3, 2015. Buyer addresses are located on under portfolio files.

Students, are you interested in playing Ultimate Frisbee with your friends? Come out and play in the Ultimate Frisbee Club at the field behind John Herrs every Friday right after school at 3 pm. For my information talk to either Steven Fafel or Jared Mylin.

Permanent parking passes are available in the main office. Please see Mrs. Broderick to pick up your pass.

Attention seniors: the SAT will be given here at Penn Manor on Saturday October 3. Seniors planning to attend a four-year college should take this test. The regular registration deadline is this Thursday, September 3, 2015. Online registration is recommended. You can take a free online SAT practice test at the College Board website. Remember when you register that our test center number is 39424 and our school code number is 392655. See Mr. Yearsley if you have any questions.

If you are interested in being a part of our theatre program this year – we have lots of opportunities for everyone! There will be an informational meeting on Tuesday, September 1st at 6:30 in the auditorium. All interested students should plan to attend, and bring a parent. We will share information about how to join our theatre club, attend state conference, audition for a role onstage, work behind the scenes as a crew member, or help in the lobby as an usher. We will be producing THREE SHOWS this year! Our fall show will the “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” and we will provide all the paperwork needed to audition. We will also do our traditional spring musical in March – but we are also going to produce a children’s show in April. Please come to the meeting to learn more about our program – there is no commitment or obligation, just a chance to meet the staff and get more information. We hope to see you there!
